WE'RE ALL GRINS TODAY!!

Today, Jillian started smiling! She's got the most beautiful smile! WOW! I can't help but imagine what's going on in that little head of hers...what's she's thinking...can she see me well enough now? She's just precious!

Now to get her big sister to LEAVE HER ALONE while she sleeps!! UGH!

Well, as you look at this picture, which was taken on December 2, 1972, you can vividly see that Jillian and her daddy are "look alikes". Who is this child's mother????

Jillian is doing very well. I weighed her today and she's gained 2 ounces since last week when I weighed her...which now makes her 9 pounds, 7 ounces. She's a precious baby girl...loves to cuddle...and will soon be able to smile and show emotions. She does laugh and smile in her sleep...but she doesn't know those emotions yet...so they don't count as the real thing!

I have to admit to you all reading this that I'm horrible at posting my blogs. I promise to try to do better as I'm sure all of you are just as curious as to how Jillian is doing as we are!

Today is Jillian's 21 day birthday. She weighs 9 lbs., 5 oz. and is growing like a weed! This child LOVES to eat! She has a set schedule (we're trying to not break it!) and only wakes every 3 or 4 hours to feed during the night which is SUCH a blessing! Her hair is dark brown, her skin is like porcelean and her eyes are as blue as blueberries. And, she looks JUST LIKE HER DADDY when he was this age (of 21 days).

We went to Dallas today where my sister's inlaws church gave her a baby shower. It was fun having both Jillian and Aubrie Faith (born 3 days prior to Jillian) there while everyone held our babies and talked about how beautiful they are! Of course, Suzie and I already knew we had the most beautiful little girls!! Our parents were here to celebrate this weekend as well and it was just so fun having everyone together.
